四、句型結(jié)構(gòu)

　　① 某地有某人或某物

　　There is + 可數(shù)名詞單數(shù) / 不可數(shù)名詞 + 其他.

　　There are + 可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù) + 其他.

　　eg： There is a long bridge over the lake. 湖面上有一座長長的橋。

　　There are many lovely animals in the zoo. 動物園里有許多可愛的動物。

　　② 詢問某物長度

　　— How long is ...？

　　— It’s + 數(shù)字 + 長度單位 + long.

　　eg： — How long is the rope？ 這條繩子多長？

　　— It’s about twenty metres. 大約20米。

　　③ 詢問歷史

　　— How old is ...？

　　— It’s + 數(shù)字 + years old.

　　eg： — How old is the old house？ 這座房子多少年歷史了？

　　— It’s more than thirty years old. 超過30年。

　　④ 詢問時間

　　— What time is it？

　　— It’s ... o’clock.

　　eg： — What time is it？ 幾點了？

　　— It’s seven o’clock. 七點。

　　⑤ 征求別人意見的句型

　　May I + 動詞原形 + 其他？ （更委婉）

　　還可以表達(dá)為：Can I + 動詞原形 + 其他？

　　eg： — May I come into your room？ 我可以進(jìn)去你的房間嗎？

　　— Sure. Please. 當(dāng)然，請進(jìn)。
