2019年小學英語晨讀練習：《愛麗絲夢游仙境》

　　旁白：One day， Alice and her sister were reading books in the park. But the books didn’t have pictures in them. Alice didn’t like those kinds of books. Suddenly， a white rabbit jumped out.

　　兔子：Oh， dear！ I’m going to be late！

　　旁白：Alice followed the rabbit into a hole， and was falling down a dark well. She looked around her， there were so many jams and sweets. She saw a light， and walked towards it. Soon she was in a room and found a small door. She looked through the door ， and on the other side she could see a beautiful garden.

　　愛麗絲：I really want to explore that garden， but I can’t fit through the door！

　　旁白：So she was seeking around in the room. Then she found a bottle of water. Alice picked up the bottle， and saw a note： DRINK ME.

　　愛麗絲：What’s this？ It doesn’t seem dangerous.Hmm， it tastes nice！ Oh！ What’s wrong？ Oh！ No！ I’m becoming smaller！

　　旁白：Soon， Alice was small enough to get through the little door. She ran to the garden， and there she met the white rabbit again.

　　兔子：I can’t make the Queen wait. She’s going to be so angry with me！

　　旁白：Alice wanted to ask him which way to go， but he ran off again. Alice now felt tired， scared and alone. She started to cry. All of a sudden， the rabbit came back and said：

　　兔子：What are you doing， sitting here crying？ Don’t you know that we’re going to be late？ Come on， then！

　　旁白：Alice ran together with the rabbit through the garden. They came to a large， white house. Outside the house were some strange men. They seemed to be painting roses red. Alice stepped forward.

　　愛麗絲：Excuse me， kind sirs， but what are you doing？

　　旁白：A man was just about to answer her when suddenly the Queen came. The Queen of Hearts looked at Alice coldly， and said，

　　紅心女王：Who are you？ What are you doing here at my home？

　　愛麗絲：Your Highness， my name is Alice.

　　旁白：The Queen pointed at the gardeners who were painting the roses.

　　紅心女王：What about them？ More strangers come to my home without invitations？

　　愛麗絲：I don’t know who they are！ This is your home. Why should I know what they are doing here？

　　旁白：Then Alice covered her mouth with her hand. She shouldn’t speak so rudely to a Queen！ The Queen was angry.

　　紅心女王：Grab this girl！ Off with her head！

　　愛麗絲：Oh， yeah？ Try it！ Do you think you can catch me？ You’re all just playing cards！”

　　旁白：Alice then was surprised again： Everything was becoming smaller and smaller again.

　　愛麗絲：No， wait， I’m becoming bigger！

　　旁白：The card soldiers suddenly all jumped into the air and started flying around her. Alice cried out， and lifted her hands to brush them away.

　　Then Alice woke up and found that it had all been a dream！
