教學目標:
1.知識目標
①鞏固復習上一單元學習的形容詞以及形容詞比較級:tall—taller short—shorter strong—stronger old—older
②學會并能口頭運用Beijing is bigger than Tianjin.
③學習并能識別運用短語:Mount Qomolangma、Mount Tai、The Great Wall、The Summer Palace
2..結合實際,讓學生學會比較和描述兩個事物。
3.從情感目標方面讓學生了解祖國的河流、山川、城市及名勝古跡等。使學生更加愛自己的祖國。
教學重點難點:
1.學習并能識別運用詞組:Mount Qomolangma、The Great Wall、The Summer Palace。
2.能口頭表達及描述兩個事物的差異,掌握句子:Beijing is bigger than Tianjin等句子。
教學方法 :復習法 情景教學法 小組合作

教學設想:
通過本節課的學習,學生可以掌握形容詞的原級及比較級的一般變化規律,并學會使用比較級句型比較和描述兩個事物。與現實生活結合起來,讓所學知識在生活中得到具體運用。從學法上,突出了學生的主體。從內容的安排上,從詞到句子,循序漸進, “在學中玩,在玩中學。”不但讓學生掌握了新知識,還培養了學生的自信,培養學生學習英語的興趣。
教學過程
Step 1 Warm-up
1.Greetings. Good morning, boys and girls. How are you today? I’m fine, thank you. And you?
2.Chant:
Tall, tall, taller, Amy’s taller than Lingling.
Old, old, older, Amy’s older than Lingling.
Short, short, shorter, Sam’s shorter than Daming.
Young, young, younger, Sam’s younger than Daming.
上課時,我先通過和學生的互動,再通過一首chant引出了上節課的內容。真正達到了復習舊知、引出新知。
Step 2 Lead-in
Do you like travelling? Today, I’ll take you to visit some beautiful and famous places. There are four stops in our trip. First, close your eyes please!
1.the Changjiang River and the Yellow River
T: CAI shows the picture of the Changjiang River. T: What is it? Ss: the Changjiang River. CAI shows the picture of the Yellow River. T: And this is… Ss: the Yellow River.
問同學們知道兩條河的長度么?再告訴學生長江長6397km, 黃河長 5464km. 讓學生比較Which is longer? 引導學生說出句子: The Changjiang River is longer than the Yellow River. 單詞:long long longer 分組讀 比較級和原級 排火車 小組競賽
2.Mount Qomolangma, Mount Tai (出示課件)
I want to travel around the world one day, climb Mount Qomolangma and Mount Tai is my dream.(展示兩幅圖,分別教學)
大多數學生可能對泰山的了解比較多一點,再和學生說:Mount Tai, it is in our Shandong province.并問學生 Have you ever been there?
同學們可能對Mount Qomolangma(分音節讀)不是很了解,可以給學生們講一下,It is the highest mountain in our earth!
問學生 Which is higher, Mount Tai or Mount Qomolangma? 引導學生說出Mount Qomolangma is higher than Mount Tai. 學習單詞 High,high,higher.
3.the Great Wall, the Summer Palace
Ss: 長城!T: Yes, it’s the Great Wall! the Great Wall ( 手勢表示 great , wall ) 長城是人們智慧的結晶 (wall, wall, the Great Wall)
CAI shows the picture of the Summer Palace. Ss: 頤和園! T: Yes, you are right. It’s the Summer Palace. “summer” means 夏天 ,palace 宮殿,So the Summer Palace. How beautiful they are!
